Best way to lose weight

Some of you are probably aware that I am following my own advice and trying to lose weight. I say trying - I don't like the use of that word as a rule.  Trying is not the same as doing and it builds in an expectation of failure.  So, I am losing weight.  After being hit by the triple whammy of marriage, menopause and a new job which meant more travel and robbed me of time to work out (how's that for an excuse).  Anyway, the upshot was, I put on a lot of weight, so now I am following the advice in my ebook - You Can Achieve Permanent Weight Loss.  So far I have lost around 1 stone, so still somewhere around 2 stone to go.  Yes, I really did go off the rails.  I'll keep reporting my progress, Today I am 166 lbs.  I've been losing around 2lbs per week, although this week I have only lost 1lb.  
Here's the book, if you are interested.  I am quite strong willed, so this is, along with a couple of hypnosis downloads, is enough for me.

Your brain - how does it work?

The human brain is more powerful than any computer, but we have never had any instructions in how to use it.  There are actually two parts to your brain, your conscious and subconscious mind.  Obviously you can control what’s going on in your conscious mind, but how about your subconscious?  Too many people fail because their subconscious mind is actually working against them.  The frustrating part is they don't even know it.  If you are going to make any real change in your life, you really need to make the changes there.
NLP techniques help you to take control of your subconscious mind and make the changes you need to live the life you've always dreamed of.

NLP Techniques really work

I know it's hard to believe all of the hype surrounding NLP techniques.  I mean who can believe that a few words can have such a profound effect on your life? 

But the truth is that NLP does work.  Your brain is a huge processor, a very complex one, with two parts, the conscious and the subconscious.  The conscious part is the relatively simple bit that you control.  You want to scratch an itch so you do.  Easy!

The subconscious part of your brain however, is much more complex.  It sees, knows and remembers everything.  All of your past experiences and memories are in there. And it is this part of the brain that determines whether you succeed or fail based on its own parameters – those past random experiences of your life.  Just think about that. All of those past failures building up into a hard core of limiting beliefs which will keep on holding you back.

NLP techniques let you re-programme your subconscious mind to eliminate all of the limiting beliefs that are stopping you get what you want.  Maybe it's time you thought about how NLP techniques can change your life.
