Meditation Techniques

We live in a very fast paced world and it is important that you manage to take time to just slow down and ‘be in the moment’.

I’m not talking about having a long soak in the bath or listening to music, although these are important.  Especially if you enjoy them.

No, I’m talking about really being still, and being in the now.  Just quietening the voice inside. Clearing your mind from thinking about the million things you usually think about and letting your mind be still.

Trying to do too much can lead to stress, which in turn can lead to all sorts of physical and psychological disorders. Using meditation techniques is a very powerful way of counteracting the negative effects of stress.  Many people find it difficult to meditate.  It’s not hard to understand why. With so many thoughts running wild within our minds, actually clearing the mind and achieving the state of pure consciousness can be quite a task.

Sometimes you need a bit of support to get you started

Steve Jones, who is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, has put together a good support package, which may help you achieve deeper and quicker results than you can get by working alone.

Steve's package is  a great introduction to meditation for beginners and will also be enjoyed by regular practitioners.   He uses a technique called Spiritual Meditation.  The positive effects of using meditation techniques have been known for thousands of years.  Now you have a chance to find out for yourself.

Remember, the secret is regular practice. Try to set aside some time every day. You really will feel the benefits.
